Princess Charlotte and Kate Middleton Share an Adorable Mother-Daughter Moment in Coordinating Outfits.

The Princess of Wales and her only daughter highlighted their love of tennis and their special bond while attending the 2025 Wimbledon Championships.

Princess Charlotte and Kate Middleton didn't hesitate to showcase their special bond when they attended the 2025 Wimbledon Championships. In fact. the future queen and her daughter were caught on camera sharing an adorable moment while watching the tennis tournament from the royal box.

The 11-year-old princess joined her mom, dad, Prince William, and older brother, Prince George, at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, England, for the competition on July 13, 2025. For the outing, she wore a posh white dress with a ruffled bib and a tied bow on the back.

Blue piping along the ruffles coordinated with the Princess of Wales's short-sleeved royal blue gown, which featured a structural detail on one shoulder and a plunging neckline. Charlotte pulled her hair back and wore it down with part of it in a braid. This also marked the first time that the young royal was spotted in public with her nails done—she sported baby pink polish on her hands, and she's gone on to wear more daring colors since.

While watching the men's finals, the mother-daughter pair shared the sweetest moment when they were seen on camera appearing to chat with each other behind folding fans. In the photo, Charlotte wore dark sunglasses to keep the sun out of her eyes. Kate, meanwhile, opted for a large straw hat. Sitting side-by-side, they held their hands up to their faces while sharing a moment.

Charlotte, an avid tennis fan like her mom, could be seen clasping her face in shock with her eyes wide during the games, mirroring Kate's own expressions at times. Both she and George have inherited an appreciation for the sport.

George has previously taken lessons with Roger Federer, and Kate told reporters last year that Charlotte had "been practicing" ahead of their highly-anticipated Royal Box appearance.

One royal who was notable in his absence at the event was Charlotte and George's younger brother, Prince Louis. He did not attend Wimbledon in 2025, and it remains to be seen if he'll be present for the 2026 tournament.

Kate and William's only daughter also made waves during her appearance at Wimbledon in 2024, proudly looking on as her mom—who was undergoing treatment for cancer at the time—was greeted with a standing ovation. Charlotte, who appeared starstruck as she accepted a winning racket from women's singles champion Barbora Krejčiková, has been following in Kate's tennis-loving footsteps.

Kate—who is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club—reportedly told players, "as a family, we play a lot [of tennis]" and revealed that she and Charlotte had been "filling in the leaderboard" during the matches.

Although Louis has yet to make his Wimbledon debut, the notoriously comical royal also seems to be learning to love the game at an early age. Kate previously brought home a "priceless gift"—signed Adidas Stan Smith sneakers from tennis star Stan Smith—for her youngest son back in 2019 when he was just a year old.
