Princess Kate flies under the radar for an unannounced meeting inside Windsor Castle.

The Princess of Wales enjoyed a second secret meeting inside the walls of Windsor Castle amid her busy few weeks.

The Princess of Wales enjoyed an under-the-radar meeting on Wednesday morning.

The future Queen, 44, as joint patron of the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales, met privately with Mrs Sarah Henwood, Chief Executive of The Royal Foundation, at Windsor Castle this morning.

This meeting was entirely private, and no photos were taken.

Sarah joined Prince William and Catherine's Royal Foundation in February as their new CEO, taking over from Amanda Berry, who had been in the position since 2022.

This is the second secret meeting Sarah has had with Catherine at Windsor Castle in recent days, as she was also received there last Monday.

Sarah joins William and Catherine.

Sarah was full of passion in February when she joined the senior royals, writing on LinkedIn at the time that she was feeling "awe, excitement and a fresh energy" ahead of stepping into her new role.

At the same time, she announced a personal "rebrand" and said she will be known as Sarah Henwood in the new role, instead of Sarah Rose, as she had previously been known online.

She wrote on the networking platform: "I take up the reins as CEO of The Royal Foundation in February with awe, excitement and a fresh energy to play my part in the brilliant and important work the team there is already doing.

"I am not a big poster on LinkedIn, but I will use this platform going forward to shine a light on some of the remarkable initiatives the Foundation is working on for the Prince and Princess of Wales."

She's since shared regular updates on the royal couple's projects, calling her new job "extraordinary".

Catherine busy schedule.

The secret meetings came amid a busy few weeks for the Princess, who stepped out in Southend-on-Sea with the Forward Trust to mark Addiction Awareness Week.

Kate also attended the Digger premiere with Prince William in London's Leicester Square last week, reuniting with a gallant Tom Cruise, who offered her his hand as they walked down some steps.

This headline refers to private, behind-the-scenes working sessions Catherine, Princess of Wales, held at Windsor Castle, which were officially recorded in the Court Circular (the official daily registry of royal engagements) rather than publicized to the press.

What the "Unannounced Meeting" Actually Was

The Meeting Attendee: Acting as Joint Patron of The Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Kate met privately at Windsor Castle with Sarah Henwood, the Chief Executive of The Royal Foundation.

Context & Focus: Henwood stepped into the role of CEO earlier in the year. The meeting was a private strategy session focused on steering the foundation's core charitable initiatives, including early childhood development, mental health, and ongoing philanthropic partnerships.

A Pattern of Desk-Side Work: Far from an emergency conference or clandestine summit, this was Kate's second one-on-one session with Henwood inside Windsor Castle in recent days. The Princess often conducts foundational planning, charity governance, and stakeholder discussions away from cameras before launching public-facing projects.

Why Tabloids Call It "Secret" or "Under the Radar"

Because media outlets are accustomed to covering public walkabouts, red carpets, and speeches, routine desk-based royal work that appears only in the Court Circular is frequently framed with dramatic phrasing like "flies under the radar" or "secret summit". In reality, these are scheduled, officially logged administrative meetings central to running the Waleses' philanthropic organization.
