During Thursday’s episode of UK information channel GB News’ Dan Wootton Tonight, accessible to flow on Flash, author Angela Levin weighed in on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex receiving the Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) Human Rights award for speaking up towards the “structural racism within the institution” of the British monarchy.
The commentator stated it was a “colossal mistake” to honour the royal couple over “shocking lies and no proof”.
“It honestly makes me feel ailing that definitely Harry, who used to be shut to his father until he bought married, actually felt that he could receive money and an award for attempting to show that his family was racist … there’s zero proof,” Ms Levin informed the program.
“He’s of course doing what he’s told. I imply he’s becoming weaker and weaker and Meghan simply offers him orders it looks and he does it.
“Because I don’t assume any man … would truly desire to do that to his family.”
Ms Levin is no longer the first man or woman to react negatively to the Sussexes’ award.
Earlier this week, Piers Morgan blasted the pair, calling the award “outrageous” and “absolutely disgusting”.
“The thought that these two little grifters, who stop royal duty, give up Britain… exploited and fleeced their royal titles for thousands of thousands and thousands of bucks straight in their again pocket,” the Sky News host told US program Fox & Friends.
“The notion that they’re being lauded as some form of heroes in America by means of your very own sort of royal family, if you like, the Kennedys, it surely sticks in my gullet.”
Robert F. Kennedy’s daughter Kerry Kennedy explained to Spanish news outlet El Confidencial why Harry and Meghan had been receiving the prestigious award.
“[Meghan and Harry] went to the oldest group in UK history and instructed them what they had been doing wrong, that they couldn’t have structural racism inside the institution; that they may want to not maintain a misunderstanding about mental health,” she informed the publication.
“They knew that if they did this there would be consequences, that they would be ostracised, they would lose their family, their position inside this structure, and that humans would blame them for it.”
