She described it enthusiastically: “Cold swimming—the colder, the better. I absolutely love it. Slightly to the point where William’s like, ‘Catherine, you’re crazy.’ And it’s dark and it’s raining.”
Prince William initially teased her for braving cold, dark, rainy conditions, but he’s since come around—by late 2025, he admitted trying it himself and enjoying the post-swim rush.
The private lake at Forest Lodge allows Kate convenient, year-round access without traveling far, making it a perfect perk of their upgraded home.
