The Princess of Wales and Prince William Continue Visit to the Scottish Isles with a Day in Nature.
On April 30, 2025, Kate Middleton and Prince William, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, continued their two-day visit to the Scottish Isles with a focus on nature and conservation. They spent the day at the Ardura Community Forest on the Isle of Mull, engaging with the Mull and Iona Ranger Service, which supports conservation, biodiversity protection, and education. The couple met with Countryside Rangers and joined a local school group for outdoor learning activities in the ancient woodland, now under community ownership. They also interacted with the Ardura Acorns, an early-years group promoting nature-based activities like trail walking, den building, animal tracking, and storytelling for children aged 0-5 and their caregivers. This visit underscored their commitment to environmental protection and community engagement, aligning with Kate’s advocacy for early childhood development and the therapeutic benefits of nature, especially poignant after her cancer treatment.
