Today host Allison Langdon makes a cameo on Meghan Markle's podcast.


Today exhibit host Allison Langdon has made a shock cameo in the state-of-the-art episode of Meghan Markle's Archetypes podcast.
During the episode, the Duchess of Sussex vented her frustrations at being informed a 'million instances over' she was once lucky Prince Harry had 'chosen her' to be his wife when they grew to be engaged in 2017.
Markle, 41, illustrated her point with a clip of Langdon, 43, speakme about the couple's wedding ceremony in a 2018 episode of 60 Minutes Australia.





'The pleased couple has enchanted the world with their real-life fairytale,' Langdon stated on the program.
Langdon was visibly pissed off as she reacted to hearing her cameo for the first time stay on the Today show on Wednesday.
In the context of the podcast, Meghan used Langdon's soundbite as proof of sexism in the media's coverage of her engagement and marriage to Harry.



But the journalist insisted she had by no means once suggested Meghan used to be 'lucky' to have bagged herself a prince.
'[I'm blowing] steam out my ears! What part of that was once saying, "Harry [chose you]... oh, my gosh,"' she scoffed.
Langdon's co-host Karl Stefanovic was additionally furious, pronouncing that the modern-day episode of Archetypes 'makes my head explode'.
'Whatever facet of the fence Ally is on in this story, she gets smashed by Meghan,' he added, rolling his eyes.
'You tell me, in something I just said... was me saying she used to be lucky due to the fact of Prince [Harry]!' Langdon exclaimed.





'All I be aware of is I had a lot of mates who favored Meghan for a long time, and none of them do anymore,' she added.
Langdon has in no way been shy to criticise the Sussexes.
Just closing week, Langdon known as out Meghan for comparing herself to Nelson Mandela in her latest interview with The Cut magazine.
The former Suits actress had claimed she was once instructed by means of a solid member of the Lion King in 2019 that South Africans had 'danced in the street' when she married Harry - just like they did when 'Mandela was freed from prison'.



'That [comment], I feel, is tone-deaf,' Langdon remarked on the Today show.
'Even if it was said... to share that... Anyway, they're residing their "quiet life", as they wished,' Langdon later added, rolling her eyes.
In her latest Archetypes podcast, which featured actress Mindy Kaling, Markle said: 'When I started out dating my husband, we became engaged. Everyone was simply like, "Oh, my God, you are so lucky, he selected you."
'At a sure point, after you hear it a million instances over, you're like, "Well, I chose him, too." But, thankfully, I have a companion who used to be countering that narrative for me and going, "They've bought it all wrong. I'm the lucky one because you selected me."
