Prince Harry and Meghan Markle turned down invite to visit the Queen, claims royal expert.


The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been invited to the UK for a 'big sleepover' in Balmoral with the Queen, a royal specialist has claimed.
Author Katie Nicholl informed GB News Breakfast with Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster that Prince Harry, 37, and Meghan Markle, 41, have been 'invited at the stop of August'.
She said: 'The Queen usually has this wonderful, extended continue to be for her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. There's a huge sleepover at Balmoral, they had been invited to go to that.
'They were also invited to go to Birkhall with the Prince of Wales and therefore a long way they haven't achieved it.'







The US-based couple, who are concept to have back to Windsor over the weekend, are on a whirlwind European trip, having visited Dusseldorf these days for an Invictus Games event, in advance of attending the WellChild Awards in the UK on Thursday.
Katie said: 'I be aware of from sources very close to the Prince of Wales that he is prepared to do some thing it will take to get this relationship again on track, I suppose now not least due to the fact he desires to as a father.
'He desires to see his teenagers as a grandfather, however I suppose he is acutely aware that if there is this rift that threatens to overshadow his future reign as well. There are other problems at play here.'
The Sussexes are believed to have arrived at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor on Saturday ahead of their European tour.







The property is positioned simply 380 ft away from the Cambridges' new four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage, where Prince William and Kate spent the weekend with their children.
However, whilst Harry and Meghan spent time less than half a mile from the Cambridges, the households are not expected to meet, in a decision that underlines the deep rift between the brothers.
Katie said: 'I'm told I do not assume William can forgive his brother for what he's performed and how he's completed it, in phrases of not simply leaving the royal family, throwing them below a bus and his therapy of the royal household today.
