Today marks the 2d anniversary of the date Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially stopped representing the Queen - and it seems there was once a precise reason why ultra-modern date was once chosen.
Exactly two years ago today, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle formally end their royal roles.
Despite asserting in January 2020 that they would be stepping down as senior working royals, they continued to officially represent the Queen until March 31, 2020.
In that period in-between period, they carried out royal engagements that had already been arranged.
Their final royal day trip together was at the 2020 Commonwealth Day carrier on March 9, 2020, where they joined the Queen and other participants of the Royal Family.
And in accordance to Hello! royal correspondent Danielle Stacey, there was once a reason why their working royal reputation did not cease until three weeks after their final engagement - and it's down to the stop of the financial year.
The publication reports that the Royal Household marks the stop of its economic 12 months on March 31 - and as Harry and Meghan had stated they desired to be financially independent, that is why the date used to be chosen.



Since leaving the UK to carve out a new lifestyles for themselves and their kids Archie and Lilibet in California, Harry has solely lower back to the UK twice.
Meghan has now not lower back and neither has Archie. Lilibet used to be born in the US and has not yet been to Britain.
