The Princess of polish! Charlotte shows off her icy blue manicure in William and Kate's new anniversary portrait - ahead of her 11th birthday.

Princess Charlotte sported funky blue nail polish in a new Wales family portrait that was released to mark her parents' 15th wedding anniversary today.

Taking to social media, Prince William, 43, and Catherine, 44, shared a sweet photo with their children, a decade and a half after they exchanged vows at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011.

'Celebrating 15 years of marriage,' they wrote.

The candid picture, which appears to have been taken by Matt Porteous during a family holiday in Cornwall earlier this month, showed them happily basking in the sun.

While Prince George, 12, is pictured playfully smiling at his father, Catherine is holding hands with Prince Louis, who just celebrated his eighth birthday.

Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte, who can be seen lying next to her younger brother, appears to be enjoying the sunshine while showing off her new manicure.

Charlotte seems to be embracing her tween years as the young princess, who turns 11 on May 2, opted for an icy blue colour that caught the light.

The first time Charlotte was seen wearing nail polish in public was at Wimbledon last July.

The princess showed off her bubblepink manicure as she put on an animated display while watching Carlos Alcaraz take on Jannik Sinner in a tense final at centre court.

Charlotte, who is believed to be a huge Alcaraz fan, appeared enthralled with the match as she cheered, waved, and clapped while sitting alongside her parents and older brother, Prince George.

At some points, she raised her hands to her face, showing off her bright pink nail polish.

Princess Charlotte's last public appearance was on Easter Sunday when she joined senior royals for the traditional service at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

She put on a sweet mother-daughter display with Princess Catherine as they were spotted walking out of the service while holding hands.

They also wore coordinated outfits, with Catherine opting for a cream two-piece suit from Self-Portrait with a brown leather handbag and matching heels.

Her ensemble was complemented by Charlotte's camel-coloured coat with brown velvet accents which she paired over a pretty white dress with a delicate pair of black pumps.

It appears the new royal portrait was taken during the same holiday that set the scene for Louis's latest birthday picture.

Set against the backdrop of the Cornish coast, a grinning Louis is shown leaning with his arms folded against the vessel’s metal barrier, with the sea as the backdrop.

William and Kate’s youngest child, who is known for his cheeky nature, is wearing a £42 blue textured quarter-zip style jumper from Boden in the adorable snap.

It was posted on Kensington Palace's social media accounts with the message: 'Happy birthday, Louis! Eight today!' followed by a red balloon emoji.

The picture was taken earlier this month during the family's low-key Easter break by photographer Matt Porteous, to whom the Waleses often turn to mark family occasions.

The Prince and Princess later gave royal fans a rare glimpse into their family life with a heartwarming footage of Louis playing cricket and running along the beach as he turned a year older.

Proving he's just as adventurous as he is cheeky, the fearless young royal was also captured eagerly diving into the sea from a height.

On the occasion of their anniversary last year, the future King and Queen released a romantic picture taken during their visit to the Isle of Mull, where they are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay.

It showed Catherine and William lovingly holding each other as they enjoyed a quiet moment at dusk in Tobermory.

On the eve of their 15th wedding anniversary, Prince William returned to his old RAF base in Anglesey for what would have been an especially sentimental trip.

Before they were married, Kate decided to move to Wales with her prince charming who was stationed at RAF Valley as a search and rescue pilot between 2010 and 2013.

The royal couple moved into a rented home for which they paid £750 as William admitted the early years of their relationship were 'great fun' during yesterday's visit to RAF Valley.

The life partners of more than 20 years became friends first at university where Kate was working towards an art history degree, while William, who initially enrolled for history of art, had switched to geography, before embarking on a romance.

It is said that Kate caught the attention of the young prince at a charity fashion show in the Spring of their first year at university.

They then moved in to an apartment with friends during their second year of studies 'as friends' but 'it just sort of blossomed from there really,' the Prince later said in the couple's official engagement interview.
