The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton breaks royal tradition with cryptic Mother's Day post.
This year, on March 30, 2025, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, diverged from her usual Mother’s Day tradition of sharing a family photograph with her children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Instead, she posted a video on the official Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account, focusing on the theme of “Mother Nature.” The video showcased various natural landscapes across the UK, such as woodlands, beaches, and fields, with subtle glimpses of Kate touching a tree and Prince William walking with their dogs. Accompanying the video was a message that read: “Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary. This Mother’s Day, let us celebrate Mother Nature and recognise how our bond with the natural world can help not only nurture our inner selves, but remind us too of the role we play within the rich tapestry of life. C.”
