Last week, the Princess of Wales, 41, made a one-of-a-kind cameo on the BBC’s Children in Need telethon. The royal rocked a '70s-inspired coiffure that’s beginning to end up her new go-to.
The duchess’s hair was once styled in unfastened curls that fell under her shoulders. The portions round her face had been curled to create a profile à la Farrah Fawcett.
During the appearance, Princess Catherine spoke fondly of the Children in Need telethon, which has raised over $1.2 billion for deprived childhood in the U.K. when you consider that the first broadcast in 1980.


“Tonight is all about supporting to support, champion and empower all young people to be the very high-quality they can be, which is essential for their future fitness and happiness,” the Princess of Wales said. “Our relationships, environment and experiences all through the earliest years lay the foundations that structure the relaxation of our lives.”
This wasn’t the first time that Princess Catherine has switched up her signature coiffure for some thing extra retro. Earlier this month, the royal traveled to Scotland with her husband, Prince William, to go to a charity known as Outfit Moray. The duchess wore a pair of '70s-inspired flared pants, and she styled her hair to fit the groovy ensemble.
Of course, the new coiffure didn’t remaining long. A few days later, the Princess of Wales stepped into her brand-new function as Colonel-in-Chief of 1st the Queen’s Dragoon Guards and styled her hair straight with a mild curl at the ends. Then, simply remaining week, Princess Catherine attended the Shaping Us National Symposium tournament at the Design Museum in London and added again her traditional beachy waves.
