Prince Harry heads to Aspen with good friend Nacho Figueras for special event.

 

Prince Harry has headed to Aspen, Colorado, to take section in the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup, it has been announced.

An authentic announcement from the charity on Thursday read: "The Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup will take location at Aspen Valley Polo Club to raise awareness and cash to guide Sentebale’s vital work with teens and young human beings in southern Africa whose lives have been affected with the aid of excessive poverty, inequality, HIV/AIDS and recently COVID-19.

"Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, Co-Founding Patron of Sentebale, will play on the Sentebale Team, joined via his longtime friend and the charity's ambassador, and Argentine polo player, Nacho Figueras. The team will struggle it out towards the Royal Salute and the U.S. Polo Assn. Teams in a round-robin tournament."

Speaking of the event, the Duke added: "We are delighted to return once once more to the lovely grounds of Aspen Valley Polo Club for the annual Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup. Sixteen years ago, Prince Seeiso and I founded Sentebale in honour of our mothers' work in HIV, and named after my mum's favorite flower, the "forget-me-not" in Sesotho, representing our commitment to usually remembering and advocating for these in need.

"We are all proud of the support we are in a position to supply the younger humans of Lesotho and Botswana to feel empowered, healthy, resilient, and able to thrive. The dollars raised this yr will be invested in these communities at a critical time, as inequalities have been exacerbated through the pandemic. He flew into Colorado after currently travelling to Africa in his capability as President of African Parks – a non-profit conservation crew that manages country wide parks throughout the continent.

On the visit, the 37-year-old had "welcomed and co-hosted a crew of US officials, conservationists, and philanthropists as they toured covered natural world and nature areas," a spokesperson instructed HELLO!.

Founded in 2006, Sentebale raises consciousness and money to aid their with teens and younger humans in southern Africa whose lives have been affected by severe poverty, inequality, HIV/AIDS and lately COVID-19.
