Prince Harry and Meghan could miss seeing the Queen at Balmoral because of security dispute.

 


Ongoing protection issues can also force Prince Harry and Meghan to put off seeing the Queen when they return to the UK next month.
The Duke of Sussex is but to unravel his dispute with the government over police safety for him and his family, which may want to mean he is unable to see his grandmother.
According to The Telegraph UK, the Home Office panel is still finding out on whether or not the royal couple should qualify for safety from the Metropolitan Police.
Prince Harry and Meghan are heading lower back from California to attend charity events "close to their hearts".
From September 5, the couple will be in Manchester for the One Young World Summit and in London on September 8 for the WellChild Awards.
In between, they will go to Dusseldorf in Germany for launch match for the 2023 Invictus Games on September 6.
But their decision about tour inside the UK is dependant on the degree of safety given to them, the booklet reports.



There had been suggestions the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would go to Her Majesty at Balmoral Castle on either the Wednesday or the Thursday, when they are lower back in the UK.
But sources have informed The Telegraph Prince Harry and Meghan would be unable to see the monarch except safety problems can be resolved.
They would routinely be covered when at the royal estates – inclusive of Windsor Castle and Balmoral – but extra policing protection for their exterior activities, together with travel, are determined on a case-by-case basis.
During the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June, Prince Harry and Meghan attended just two legit engagements where they had protection in place along with other members of the royal family.
They remained at Frogmore Cottage and its surroundings the rest of the time.
Prince Harry has previously argued he and his family want extra security to maintain them protected on UK soil.
While he can hire a private safety team, the duke says those officers would no longer have get right of entry to to enough nearby records to guard his family.
