American TV host Oprah Winfrey defended Meghan Markle and insisted the Duchess of Sussex used to be “truthful” at some stage in the explosive chat.

The pro TV host additionally expressed some shock at the have an effect on her “racist” claims had had.

Winfrey, on Nancy O'Dell's TalkShopLive show, expressed surprise at the affect of the interview while backing up the claims made by means of Harry and Meghan.

Winfrey printed that she despatched texts to each Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prior to the interview to ensure they "align their goal" in advance of the chat and understand the "shared intention used to be the truth."

The comments come a week after Prince Harry reunited with his fellow Royals for the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip, who handed away age ninety nine on April 9th.
