If nothing else, Her Majesty gets every other A for effort.
Back in April, at some point of a speedy go to from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their way to The Netherlands for the Invictus Games, Her Majesty invited the couple and their children, Archie and Lili, to the U.K. in early June to have a good time her milestone Platinum Jubilee with her. It’s an invitation the Duke and Duchess of Sussex accepted—but, as Marie Claire reported, the visit curiously didn’t go as properly as they expected.
But, in phrases of consistently mending familial relations, the Queen seems to have supplied any other threat at it, as multiple shops document that she has invited the Sussexes to her liked summer season throwback in Scotland, Balmoral, as an olive branch.
“The Sussexes spent little time with the monarch at some point of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations previously this year, for the duration of which they sooner or later delivered their daughter Lilibet to her great-grandmother,” The Mirror reports. “Ahead of Her Majesty’s summer time break in the Scottish Highlands, personnel have been warned to expect the U.S.-based couple, as properly as their two children.”

Of the retreat, the Queen’s granddaughter Princess Eugenie has said “it’s the most lovely place on earth. I suppose Granny is the most glad there.”
No phrase from the Sussexes as to whether or not they will visit, however a source informed The Sun “I would be greatly surprised if they did turn up.”
