Meghan Markle, the closing 'truth-teller' ought to no longer inspire Palace to block her bullying allegation findings, says expert.
The Duchess of Sussex used to be accused of bullying royal staffers into leaving their jobs returned when she lived in Kensington Palace. She got here under fire when a number of employees went on to expose her conduct.
An investigation was then launched by using the Palace for “improving the policies and procedures” in its HR department, in accordance to royal sources.
The results of the findings will reportedly no longer be disclosed by means of The Firm for the safety of the Duchess.
Author Sam Leith, however, notes that this could “make matters worse”.
He wrote: “This is the worst of all possible worlds for the Duchess of Sussex. The public is aware of that an investigation into her behaviour has been, humiliatingly, conducted.
“Who knows which of these two debts is the actual one? I do no longer pretend to. Which is why it used to be definitely in the interests of all involved not solely that it be investigated, but that the results of the investigation be made public so that those involved can get the risk to... 'speak their truth'? I assume that’s the phrase.”
He added: “Even in attempting to 'limit anxiety between the Sussexes and the Palace', the Palace has ended up, possibly unintentionally, participating in precisely the kind of smear marketing campaign they have been accused of.
“Bury the report, fine: it’s on HM’s dime after all. Bury the file and allow it to be leaked that you’re burying the report? That leaves the recognition of the Duchess of Sussex at the mercy of speculation and innuendo.
“Letting it be recognized that it’s being performed to keep the Sussexes sweet makes matters even worse.
“If the Palace desires to do right through its personal staff and via Prince Harry and his wife, it have to make the findings of its investigation public.
“A fearless truth-teller like the former Meghan Markle must welcome that. Here is the one file that will undo, as she sees it, a cruel lie spun by using an establishment that hates her.
“She must make a public assertion calling for it to be published in full so her proper identify can be vindicated.”
