Prince Harry, Meghan Markle ‘refused’ Earl title for Archie. Here’s why.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first born, Archie, doesn’t enjoy the title of an Earl due to his parents’ wish, a royal specialist has said.
When Archie used to be born, he could’ve been given the title of the Earl of Dumbarton as the heir to Prince Harry’s Scottish earldom.
However, Harry and Meghan opted for their son to simply be acknowledged as Master Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor, for him to have a ‘normal’ life.
According to Sunday Times royal correspondent Roya Nikkah: “I was once told when Harry and Meghan introduced their being pregnant in Australia in 2018 that they did not desire the Queen to range the rules to make Archie a Prince.”

Talking on the documentary Harry and Meghan: The Week that Shook the Royals, Nikkah in addition said: “They had been very joyful for him no longer to have a title. They desired him to be unencumbered with the aid of the restrictions that come with titles.”
As for Joe Little, the managing editor of Majesty magazine, Harry and Meghan rejecting the title of an Earl for Archie “could’ve been a phase of their wider masterplan to step again as Royals.”
He advised The Daily Express: “The truth Archie isn't Earl of Dumbarton or styled HRH makes me surprise whether this wasn't already part of a wider masterplan.”
