The Duchess of Cambridge is being criticized for addressing intellectual health troubles that pregnant women face after she did not publicly guide Meghan Markle.

On Friday, Kate Middleton was once introduced as the royal patron of Maternal Mental Health Alliance, a UK-based charity community comprised of more than 100 businesses that intention to increase cognizance of the mental health struggles that pregnant female and new mothers face.

In a video shared to the Cambridges' Twitter account to mark maternal intellectual fitness consciousness week, Middleton said that "no one is immune" to experiencing anxiety and

depression.

"It is crucial, therefore, that all those who may be struggling are given the proper guide at the right time," she said.

People online had been rapid to criticize Middleton for failing to talk about the subject matter when Meghan Markle said she experienced suicidal ideas while pregnant in 2019.

Markle stated during her Oprah Winfrey interview final year that she "didn't favor to be alive" anymore while living in London and pregnant with her first son, Archie. She said she reached out to the organization for help, however was grew to become away.

One Twitter user, @AliciaJ1985, wrote on Twitter: "The #royalfamily aren't the pleasant advocates for #MaternalMentalHealthAwarenessWeek," alongside a clip from Markle's interview with Winfrey.

"Agreed Duchess Kate so when Meghan Markle was suicidal/needed mental fitness assist all through her pregnancy why did not she get hold of ANY from Royal Family?" Dr. Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, an activist and author, wrote on the platform.
