For their contributions, they have been chosen for the New Year's Honours list. The award’s first recipient is Lance Sergeant Scott Robin Bishop. He is a driver to the Prince and Princess of Wales.

- Lance Sergeant Scott Robin Bishop, the Prince and Princess of Wales’s driver, who also received the Royal Victorian Medal (Silver).
The Royal Victorian Medal, part of the Royal Victorian Order established by Queen Victoria in 1896, is a personal gift from the monarch recognizing distinguished service to the royal household. These awards reflect King Charles’s gratitude for their loyalty and contributions.
Other royal household members, including some from King Charles’s medical team, received similar recognitions in the same honours list. This continues a tradition of acknowledging behind-the-scenes staff who support the royal family.
