Melania Trump and Kate Middleton wear same brand for first joint appearance
According to Yahoo! News, the outing took place on Thursday at Frogmore Gardens in Windsor, where the two high-profile women met young members of the Scouts’ Squirrels program, highlighting their shared focus on children’s causes.
For the occasion, Melania opted for a belted suede jacket by Ralph Lauren, paired with cream Loro Piana slacks and statement gold buckles, reportedly from Roger Vivier.
Meanwhile, Kate’s outfit combined a brown Ralph Lauren midi skirt and coordinating boots with a suede jacket and straight sweater vest from British brand ME+EM. She completed the look with a dark green silk scarf from Sudbury Mill in Suffolk, tied in a pussy bow—a style that has become a signature in her wardrobe over the past year.
Sudbury Mill, a family-run weaving mill with a 300-year history, was one of two mills Princess Kate visited just a week earlier. According to People magazine, incorporating the scarf into her outfit demonstrated the Princess’s support for the British textile industry.
Trump’s second state visit to the U.K. ran from Tuesday to Thursday, The Guardian reported, following his first state visit in 2019 during his first term, according to Reuters.
