An intruder, a man in his 30s, scaled a wall near Town Gate at Windsor Castle and was arrested by Metropolitan Police for trespassing on a protected site and possession of Class A drugs. He was handed over to Thames Valley Police and released on bail. The incident occurred near Adelaide Cottage, where Kate, Prince William, and their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—reside, though the intruder did not reach the inner grounds. Kate’s meeting focused on her Early Years initiative, a cornerstone of her work through the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, established in 2021 to promote early childhood development. This engagement marks her continued gradual return to work following her cancer treatment completion in September 2024.
