Princess of Wales may attend, potentially reuniting with Robson during a Wimbledon match in 2025.
Laura Robson, a former British tennis player and Olympic medalist, shared a memorable moment with the Princess of Wales while watching Wimbledon together two years ago. Robson, who was working with the player relations team at the time, described the unexpected day as “a really cool experience,” noting Kate’s genuine love for tennis. This recollection comes as Robson leads a new women’s tennis tournament at The Queen’s Club in West London, set for June 2025, marking the first time female players will compete there since 1973. The event, part of the cinch Championships, will feature top players like Katie Boulter, Emma Raducanu, Madison Keys, Naomi Osaka, and Barbora Krejcikova. As the royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Princess Kate may attend, potentially reuniting with Robson.
