Kate Middleton's romantic note after loved-up getaway and life-changing moment with William.

Prince William and Kate Middleton grew to be engaged in the course of a romantic time out to Kenya in October 2010 and waited just over a month to share their happy news with the world.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ relationship famously started when they were each students at St Andrew’s University in Scotland and took up residence in St Salvator’s Hall - fondly referred to as ‘Sallies’.
Their on-again-off-again relationship lasted almost a decade before Prince William in the end took that all-important step and proposed to Kate for the duration of a romantic day trip to Kenya.
While there was fevered speculation about the future of their relationship for many years, it used to be on October 20, 2010 that William and Kate grew to be engaged - although they would depart the world waiting for every other month to come.
According to royal professional Katie Nicholl, the thought was as romantic as you would count on as the couple travelled around the usa before heading to Lake Rutundu, which William had determined used to be the perfect place for the exclusive moment.
He had booked a log cabin for their stay and the couple spent the day fishing unsuccessfully for rainbow trout. Katie claims that when they back home, William took Kate out onto the veranda, received down on one knee and proposed.

The following morning it was time to take a look at out and head home, however now not before they each wrote candy notes in the lodge's guestbook. Their lovely messages, which have lately resurfaced, hint at the romantic and historical holiday, although of route at the time no one would have recognised exactly how different it had been. Kate wrote: "Thank you for such a wonderful 24 hours!
“Sadly no fish to be discovered but we had fun trying. I love the warm fires and candlelights—so romantic. Hope to be lower back soon." William wrote: "20th-21st October 2010. Such enjoyable to be back! Brought more clothes this time! Looked after so well. Thank you guys! Look forward to subsequent time, quickly I hope."
Kate and William did not officially announce their engagement until the following month at some point of a photo name at St James's Palace. During their engagement interview with journalist Tom Bradby, the couple have been asked many questions, with one answer revealing that Prince William had damaged a principal culture when he proposed.
The prince was asked if he had spoken to Michael Middleton before he asked for his daughter's hand in marriage. William confessed that he hadn't requested as he feared what he might say.
He said: "Well, I was once torn between asking Kate's dad first and then the realisation that he would possibly in reality say 'no' dawned upon me. So I thought if I ask Kate first then he can not definitely say no. So I did it that way round. I managed to talk to Mike quickly after it occurred certainly and then it sort of occurred from there."
