Prince Harry Will Attend King Charles’s Coronation Without Meghan Markle And Their Children.

 


The Duchess of Sussex will continue to be at home in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Buckingham Palace announced on Wednesday that Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, will attend his father King Charles III’s coronation subsequent month except his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
A Sussex spokesperson verified to BuzzFeed News that Harry alone will be attending the ceremony, to be held at Westminster Abbey in London on Saturday, May 6 (which also takes place to be Archie’s 4th birthday).
The duke will be one of the about 2,000 friends seated inside the church as the King is crowned alongside his wife, Queen Camilla. Palace representatives declined to comment on whether or not Harry will take section in the ceremonial procession to and from Westminster Abbey or appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony alongside the King, Queen, and different individuals of the royal family following the coronation service. The Sussexes did now not appear on the balcony during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations final year, as attendance was once limited to working members of the royal family.

On April 4, the White House established that first woman Jill Biden will be attending the coronation on behalf of the United States.
