Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Reportedly Weren't Told Prince Andrew Would Be Getting Frogmore Cottage.


Talks are reportedly ongoing between the Sussexes and King Charles over Frogmore, however information that the King presented their domestic to Prince Andrew has disrupted the negotiations.
In recent days, information over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's former UK home, Frogmore Cottage, has dominated headlines. King Charles reportedly provided Prince Andrew the keys to Frogmore, with the intent of shifting his brother out of the Royal Lodge in Windsor.
After information broke, a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan demonstrated that "the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their dwelling at Frogmore Cottage." They had beforehand repaid their £2.4 million renovations, and renewed their rent final March.
Now, the Telegraph reports that when the Sussexes had been requested to vacate Frogmore, they were "not instructed it had been earmarked for the Duke of York." According to the paper, "The Sussexes have been stated to have been disenchanted when told they had been being evicted from the property in January, three years after saying that they had been quitting royal duties and relocating abroad. However, the revelation that the King has provided the Duke of York their much-loved home, which they cautiously renovated to their very own private taste, will only serve to irritate what have already been 'difficult' talks."



Prince Harry and Meghan have reportedly been given till simply after King Charles's coronation to completely pass out of their home. It's doubtful whether or not the Sussexes will be in attendance for the coronation. Prince Harry until now shared, "There's a lot that can manifest between now and then. But, the door is constantly open. The ball is in their court." He added, "There's a lot to be discussed and I definitely hope that they're inclined to sit down down and talk about it."
They final stayed at Frogmore Cottage in September, at some point of the funeral for Queen Elizabeth, and had been there in June 2022 for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. Meghan shared she packed up many of their belongings in Frogmore during that weekend.
The Telegraph also suggested that the non-public money that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle used to repay the Sovereign Grant is phase of the ongoing negotiations over Frogmore. And, Prince Andrew is reportedly no longer in favor of leaving the Royal Lodge.
