Prince Harry's long-awaited 'unflinching' memoir, titled Spare, to come out in January.

 

Prince Harry's pretty anticipated memoir on his life as King Charles III's second-born child, titled Spare, will be posted in January, his publishers have revealed.

The book — which was in the beginning due to be posted later this 12 months however will now be released on January 10 — promises "raw, unflinching honesty" from the Duke of Sussex.

The title, which has despatched shock waves through royal watchers and the public at large, refers to the prince's years of being the "spare" royal to his older brother Prince William.

It was first announced that Prince Harry was writing a memoir again in July 2021.

At the time, the duke stated he was once writing the e book "not as the prince I was once born, however as the man I have become".

"I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story — the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons realized — I can assist show that no count number the place we come from, we have more in common than we think," he said.

The 416-page book will be published in 16 languages, from Dutch to Portuguese.

The prince — identified by using Penguin Random House as "a husband, father, humanitarian, military veteran, intellectual health advocate, and environmentalist" — will narrate the audiobook himself.

Spare had tentatively been scheduled for ebook this year, and the extend led to rumours that the duke was once hesitant to say too an awful lot about his family, or was once probably revising the narrative after his grandmother died in September.
