Sweet moment Prince William comforts Kate as they view touching tributes for the Queen in Sandringham.

Prince William was seen comforting the Princess of Wales in a touching display of affection as the duo arrived at Sandringham to view tributes for Queen Elizabeth II.
The royal couple looked emotional as they arrived to take in the thousands of written and floral tributes laid out by mourners who had gathered at the estate.
It was clearly a moving sight for William and Catherine who paused to take in bright sea of floral arrangements, piled up outside.

But in a sweet moment we don't often see from the couple, William placed a gentle hand on Kate's back as they took in the outpouring of love for Her Majesty.
The public display of affection between the couple comes off the back of what has been an emotional week.
Kate looked sombre as she took in the heartfelt offerings, crouching down at one point to read some of the cards for the Queen.
Yesterday, Kate and William joined King Charles and other senior members of the royal family for the procession of Her Majesty's coffin from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall.

The Princess of Wales, dressed in black as a sign of respect, held back tears as the Order of Service proceedings carried out.
In another tender moment, the Prince of Wales placed a caring hand on her back while they were inside the hall.
It's not the first time we've seen moments like these between the royals since the Queen died on September 8.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also struck by emotion during the procession.
At one point the couple comforted one another, holding hands as they walked out of Westminster Hall following the service for the Queen.

Zara Tindall, the Queen's granddaughter and her husband, Mike Tindall, also gripped each others hands while exiting the service. They even held hands while standing in front of the Queen as she lay in state.
These sweet but subtle moments of affection prove just how much of an emotional toll the Queen's death has had on the entire royal family.
