In the again half of of the 2d episode of Archetypes, Mariah Carey tells Meghan Markle, "You provide us diva moments now and again Meghan.
Meghan." Meghan laughs anxiously and responds, "I do? What variety of diva moments do I give you?" Mariah then explains, "It's the visual!" And Meghan says, "See it is the thing, I accomplice it differently."
Mariah then says, "I know, but let's fake that you weren't so lovely and didn't have the whole factor and did not often have extraordinary ensembles. You wouldn't maybe get as a good deal diva stuff. I do not care. I'm like, when I can, I'm going to give you diva."
Meghan truely had a visceral response to Mariah, one of the biggest divas, calling her a diva. At the stop of the episode, Meghan then speaks alone, in a voiceover, and recounts that second for her listeners, and how that moment made her feel.
"It used to be all going swimmingly, I mean clearly well," the Duchess of Sussex gushes. "Until that moment happened, which I do not recognize about you, however it stopped me in my tracks… when she referred to as me a diva! You could not see me, obviously, but I, I started to sweat a little bit. I started squirming in my chair in this quiet revolt, like, wait, wait, no, what? How? But? How ought to you? That's no longer true, it really is not… Why would you say that? My thinking honestly was once just spinning with what nonsense she must have examine or clicked on to make her say that. I just saved thinking, in that moment, was once my female crush coming to a speedy demise? Does she truely no longer see me?"

And how one very charged phrase can imply something extraordinary for every of us, it’s mind blowing to me. And it simply made me realise that in these episodes, as I've opened the door for dialog surrounding the archetypes that strive to maintain us back. What I hadn't considered was once that for some, reclaiming the words is what they experience will propel us forward."
