Prince Harry has finished writing his "intimate and heartfelt" memoir, Yahoo News UK can reveal.
In what has been billed as the “definitive account” of the Duke of Sussex’s life, the book used to be announced remaining summer following a rollercoaster 18 months which culminated in Harry and Meghan stepping lower back from their roles as senior royals and moving to the US.
The contents of the memoir have been the subject of much speculation.
According to publisher Penguin Random House, it will be “intimate and heartfelt” and cowl Harry’s time in the public eye, from his childhood up until his marriage with Meghan and beginning life as a family in the US.
Some royal commentators have warned the e book could destabilise his already fractious family members with his father and brother. Royal expert Robert Jobson told MailOnline it will purpose “mayhem amongst the House of Windsor”.
Jobson added: 'If Harry, which appears inevitable, goes into detail about mental health problems involving his wife and alleged racism at the coronary heart of the royal family, it will be hugely detrimental to the House of Windsor and the Monarchy as an institution.”
However, in accordance to royal creator Omid Scobie, sources shut to Harry have insisted the e book does not take potshots at his family.
Writing in his state-of-the-art column for Yahoo News UK, Royal Executive Editor Scobie says: “His impending memoir—which is now finished and has achieved prison checks—will no doubt invite some of it [drama] in, even if, as sources have advised me over the past year, it doesn’t encompass these much-reported “attacks” on his family.”
Harry himself has stated of the memoir: “I’m writing this not as the prince I was once born but as the man I have become."
The book is one of more than one projects the Sussexes are working on.
As published through Scobie in his column, Harry is additionally believed to be working on his very own podcast, although important points of the assignment have but to be made public.
Separately, in March, Meghan unveiled her first Spotify collection – a podcast about woman stereotypes, in which she vowed to check out “labels that attempt to maintain female back”.
