Her Majesty, 96, joined the Armed Forces at the Palace of Holyroodhouse as they marked her Platinum Jubilee in Scotland.
The appearance came as Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is planning to announce her plans for a 2nd referendum. This afternoon, she will define how she intends to forge ahead with a second vote for Scottish independence either with or without Boris Johnson's agreement.
But notwithstanding the potential constitutional disaster brewing, the Queen seemed sprightly while she was once pictured at the celebrations.

And while she carried her now general walking stick, a video of the monarch's arrival showed her getting off the educate alone, suggesting her mobility can also be correct at the moment.
This follows some uncertainty over whether her fitness troubles would prevent her from journeying to Scotland, with the day out solely being verified the previous day evening.
She arrived in Scotland closing night, with members of her family, who will be taking phase in this week's series of royal events.

As a result of her mobility problems, the Queen has cut down on her public appearances, and used to be ultimate viewed throughout her Platinum Jubilee weekend formerly this month.
However, nowadays she regarded to be playing the appearance, for which she wore a lavender coat with ox blood-coloured buttons, and a matching hat.
And, as is her custom, she wore an excellent brooch for the occasion, donning a diamond and emerald thistle-shaped piece, set with an amethyst. She has been spotted wearing the jewellery at Holyroodhouse occasions in the past.

Among brand new celebrations have been a parade and presentation of the key for Edinburgh Castle in the gardens of the palace.
The army, navy and the air force were represented at the service, with a royal salute taking location as the Queen arrived in the gardens.
Lord Lyon, King of Arms, then presented three senior representatives from the services to the Queen.
