Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Reportedly Didn't Ask The Queen For A Photo With Baby Lilibet.

A tabloid claimed Meghan and Harry's request for a pic was rejected and that Netflix is upset. Reality is way different.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry purposely stored a low profile all through their U.K. go to this month, but tabloid headlines about their allegedly “rejected” request to take a image of their daughter Lilibet and Queen Elizabeth II's first assembly have endured to spread. In reality, as the New York Post said in early June, Meghan and Harry in no way asked for pics due to the Queen's health.

The Daily Mail mentioned days after the Post's document that Netflix, the streaming carrier with which Meghan and Harry have a content deal, used to be upset that Lili and the Queen did not get a image together.

The sourcing on the story isn't any Netflix employee or spokesperson, though. Even the Post, which aggregated the Daily Mail's report, cast skepticism on the source's expertise, writing, “self-proclaimed royal expert” Angela Levin claimed that she heard Netflix was upset whilst on GB News.

“I heard Netflix wanted these photographs of them with the royals,” Levin said. “Because they would have offered it. It would be very valuable, very valuable to them.”

The Lilibet photo scandal story originated in The Sun, a tabloid whose father or mother organization Prince Harry sued. An insider claimed to the outlet in early June, “Harry and Meghan desired their photographer to capture the moment Lilibet met the Queen. But they had been instructed no chance. It was a personal family meeting.”

The NY Post sincerely debunked The Sun's claim round the same time it used to be published. The outlet revealed, by way of a supply with understanding of the situation, that Meghan and Harry did not even ask for the Queen to take a photograph with Lili given the Queen's health. (The Queen had to pull out of some Platinum Jubilee events.)

“They simply loved a non-public and intimate visit with the Queen,” the source said, with the outlet writing that the couple “didn’t even trouble asking for photos as the Queen wasn’t feeling well.” Lili met the Queen on Thursday and Friday, the Post reported. Lili was named for Queen Elizabeth II's household nickname.

Meghan and Harry went on to release a new image of their daughter to mark her first birthday after they back to California. They celebrated Lili's first birthday with a party in the U.K.
