A Royal expert claims Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have “shot.themselves in the foot” when it comes to William and Kate.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have “shot themselves in the foot” with the aid of destroying hopes of repairing their fraught relationship with Prince William, a royal expert says.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tested no challenge was once “off limits” at some point of an explosive chat with Oprah Winfrey in March final year, which saw the couple speak candidly to the famous person about their ups and downs as royals, The Sun reports.
But Royal specialist Ian Lloyd says he believes the rift between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and William can’t be healed following a string of bombshell, tell-all interviews.
Mr Lloyd told Express.co.uk: “I just can’t see it happening, especially with William. There was all the stuff about Kate and Meghan crying at the wedding in the Oprah Winfrey interview.
“I assume they shot themselves in the foot with William and Kate, I don’t think they will get somewhere close to them.”
However, he brought the feud should be healed “by a long-term investment from both sides”.
“I assume it would involve Harry spending time here and doing matters barring giving interviews,” he continued.
