Louis, the youngest infant of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, turns 4 on Friday, simply two days after his great-grandmother the Queen celebrated her milestone 96th birthday.
Proud William, 39, and Kate, 40, have released four snap shots to mark the occasion. They were taken by using Kate, a eager photographer, at the seashore near their domestic of Anmer Hall, Norfolk, before this month.
In one photo, Louis flashes a cheeky grin as he races closer to the camera. Two greater show the prince, dressed in a megastar print jumper, blue test shirt and teal shorts, retaining a cricket ball, perhaps suggesting he is already a budding younger sportsman.
The fourth and closing image suggests Louis giving some other gap-toothed grin as he looks up at the sky - the photograph of a joyful and healthy little boy.
Royal followers will be delighted to see new photographs of Louis after ignored out on latest royal engagements attended by his big brother and sister.
